Multiple regression analysis showed that nulliparous women who had undergone vaginal delivery and were consuming a pro-inflammatory diet had an increased risk of pH less then 7.10 (adjusted odds ratio \aOR\] 1.64, 95% confidence interval \[CI\] 1.12-2.39). Among these women, the risk of pH less then 7.10 was not affected by the duration of labor (aOR 1.64, 95% CI 1.11-2.42). In conclusion, following a pro-inflammatory diet during pregnancy is a risk factor for fetal acidosis among nulliparous women undergoing vaginal delivery. A high DII diet during pregnancy may modify the intrapartum fetal heart rate pattern via intrauterine inflammation.The structural integrity of the Gram-negative cell envelope is guarded by several stress responses, such as the σE, Cpx and Rcs systems. Here, we report on assays that monitor these responses in E. coli upon addition of antibacterial compounds. Interestingly, compromised peptidoglycan synthesis, outer membrane biogenesis and LPS integrity predominantly activated the Rcs response, which we developed into a robust HTS (high-throughput screening) assay that is suited for phenotypic compound screening. Furthermore, by interrogating all three cell envelope stress reporters, and a reporter for the cytosolic heat-shock response as control, we found that inhibitors of specific envelope targets induce stress reporter profiles that are distinct in quality, amplitude and kinetics. Finally, we show that by using a host strain with a more permeable outer membrane, large-scaffold antibiotics can also be identified by the reporter assays. Magnetic resonance imaging tumour characteristics (size, cystic composition and distance from the cochlear aperture), signal intensity ratio of the cochlea and vestibule in fluid-attenuated inversion recovery (FLAIR) and fast imaging employing steady-state acquisition (FIESTA)/fast spin-echo imaging with variable flip angles (CUBE) and vestibulocochlear function tests (audiometry, auditory brainstem response (ABR) and video head impulse testing (vHIT)) were obtained. Statistical analyses were performed to evaluate their relation to focal HDB. Focal HDB was found in 22% of VS. It was significantly associated with large (  &lt; 0.001) and cystic (  = 0.004) tumours and also with tumours located further from the cochlear aperture (  = 0.039). The signal intensity ratio of the cochlea on FLAIR was higher in patients with HDB (  &lt; 0.014), but this difference was not observed in FIESTA/CUBE (  = 0.981). Audiometry, ABR and vHIT results did not significantly differ in patients with HDB, but ABR results were worse in patients with higher cochlear signal intensity on FLAIR sequences (  = 0.026). Focal HDB in patients with VS was associated with increased signal intensity ratio of the cochlea on FLAIR in patients with VS but not directly to the results of vestibulocochlear function tests. The network meta-analysis showed that DCBA at 6months was significantly more effective than PBA (odds ratio, 0.39; 95% confidence interval, 0.18-0.81) and ranked as the best treatment option, although the difference was not statistically significant compared with cutting balloon angioplasty (odds ratio, 0.65; 95% confidence interval, 0.20-2.12). The differences among the three treatments at 1year were not statistically significant. Additional conventional pairwise meta-analyses did not find significant differences at 1year.
